Italia is famed for bringing back obscure, old-school designs, and its latest model, the Modena Challnge, echoes the pawn-shop guitars of the '60s. Boasting a carved German spruce top on super-thin korina body and oil-finished maple neck, the Modena Challenge also offers a trio of Italia IPM mini-humbuckers and a Bigsby B50 vibrato for retro tone and wobble. 

The Modena Challenge is the newest addition to the Modena Series, but there are some major differences that set this apart from the rest of its family. The Challenge has an ultra-thin body design bolted to an oil-finished hard rock maple neck.

The Official Bigsby tremolo adds the perfect touch to maximize the tonal versatility of this powerhouse instrument, which are powered by three... yes three Italia Toaster Style Mini Humbucker pickups, with a 5 way position switch, master volume and tone that give you a vast range of sound possibilities.
