Yamaha SGV300 electric guitar in pearl green S/H
Offset double cutaway alder body, maple neck, 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, pearl dot inlays, Samurai style headstock, Yamaha original ball bearing trem system which is currently hardtailed, 3 Yamaha single coil pickups, 3 way switch, 3 knobs (vol, tone, balance) 24.75" scale, weighs 3.8Kgs finished pearl green metallic finish - The top of headstock has been marked by the zip of a bag that wasn't quite long enough, apart from that the condition is excellent with just a few dints to body, but nothing through the paintwork, clean back of neck and minimal fretwear
Luthier Pete says - It is all to do with the last control knob. On the middle setting both coils are engaged giving a humbuckerish sound, rather like the 2nd and 4th setting on a strat when you get the middle pickup switched in with either the neck or bridge pickups, but with more control and tonal variations due to the nature of the switching nature of the blend pot, which slowly turns one pickup down as it turns the other up until it turns one off and the other fully on at full rotation.
